SCEC approved Harcor Security Bag sealing system launched at the Security in Government 2015 conference.

Harcor has launched a new version of the popular TEC security bag sealing system specifically for Government use. It has recently received SCEC approval. The unveiling of the S-TEC system was held at the Security in Government (SIG) 2015 conference located at the National Convention Centre in Canberra from 31 August to 2 September. Conference delegates had the opportunity to see and trial the new chamber by visiting the Harcor stand.

Security Bags SCEC

It was identified by Harcor that the need to upgrade Government clients to a security chamber that features the patented “fracture safe" break out points was critical. Tamper evidence is shown when an attempt is made to remove the chamber from a bag. The chamber's legs (Tamper Indicator Points) will break out and this will be visible prior to re-opening it. The S-TEC chamber therefore shares this significant security feature that is inherent in all the TEC chambers. No other SCEC security bag chamber system includes tamper breakout points. TEC and S-TEC chambers are locally designed and patented by Harcor.

Government clients are now able to order any size stock or custom made bag, housing the S-TEC chamber, which is internally stitched and has all openings secured with metal reversed zip fasteners. Additional features can be included such as encapsulated windows with barcode to uniquely identify the bag.
