Harcor would like to wish you and your families all the best for the festive season and a successful 2015

I would also like to take this opportunity to tell you about some of the key events from 2014 and also a bit about what's ahead for 2015.

New branding and website launched

The goal of the rebrand was to enhance awareness of Harcor's full product range under the product portfolios: Security Seals, Bag Supplies, Counterfeit Protection & Moulded Plastics.

Our new website enables easier access to products as they have been grouped in several ways: category, industry and application.

The feedback regarding the rebranding and new website has been overwhelmingly positive. We are encouraged to continually add value to clients though our new website platform that has been designed to evolve with our business.

Harcor 's "Arm Core Cooler Harness" was nominated and chosen as a finalist in the Product Design category for a 2014 Fire Awareness Award.

The 2014 Fire Awareness Awards recognise a wide variety of projects that reduce the effect of fires in Victoria. Projects can focus on any fire type, including structure (housing, commercial, industrial) fires and bushfires.

The Arm Core Cooler Harness is designed to reduce core body temperature fast in order to combat heat stress plus speed up recovery. This is achieved by hand and forearm water immersion. Studies from around the world have shown forearm and hand submersion cooling to have significant advantage over ice packs, cooling vests, misting and other forms of passive cooling methods.

Bronze award at AFAC 2014 presented to Harcor.

Harcor was awarded a bronze certificate from the Australasian Fire and Emergency Service Authorities Council for our AFAC Trade Show stand that included a Arm Core Cooler Harness display.

HARCOR secures exclusive Australian distributorship of the Sealock product range!

We are confident that we have selected the ideal high quality barrier seal range to prevent break-ins, protect cargo, and improve supply chain integrity.

The Sealock barrier seals require two cuts and two tools to remove. The key theft deterrent is the need for both a power cutting tool such as an angle grinder and a cable cutter for removal.

The effectiveness of the Sealock product was soon discovered by scrap metal company Alter Trading Corporation. Alter Trading had a problem - shrinking container weights at international destination ports.

After switching to Sealock, Fleet and Compliance Coordinator Allen Perkins saw a different trend: "We rapidly decided to utilise the bar seals on all international shipments when we realised an immediate and substantial decline in reported weight discrepancies.
" Sealock continues to be one of the smartest and easiest solutions we have found"

What's on the horizon in the new year?

It's all about meeting the demands of our clients. With the introduction of online ordering of specials though our new website, many new "special offers" will presented next year that you can take advantage of.

Adjustable Label Tie (ALT) prototype.

Our product development team is in the process of developing a prototype of a new product that is designed to attach labels to multiple fixtures using an adjustable loop similar to a standard Cable Tie. The labels can be pre punched or you can use a standard 3/8 inch circle mini punch to make the required puncture, enabling you to turn virtually any printed material into a ALT.

Our office will be closed from 24th December 2014 and re-opens 5th January 2015

Thank you for your business this year and we look forward to working with you again in the New Year.

Kind Regards - David Melamed
